Responsibilities
- Support clients with daily activities such as:
- Personal hygiene and grooming
- Dressing and mobility
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Medication reminders (as authorized)
- Companionship and community outings
- Promote client independence and honor their choices
- Maintain a safe, clean environment in the home
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and document support provided
- Attend trainings and meetings as required
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- At least 18 years old
- Valid California driver’s license
- Proof of auto insurance and acceptable DMV record
- Live Scan fingerprint clearance (background check)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Verifiable professional references
Preferred:
- Prior experience as a caregiver, DSP, home health aide, or in a similar role
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to complete)
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and basic cooking/housekeeping skills
- Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting or assisting with mobility
